Der Letzte Mann plot

Since the owner's illness, head waiter Karl Knesebeck has been running the spa hotel “Hövelmann”. After her death, the slippery cousin Alwin becomes the new boss. Niddy, the niece of the deceased, is considered by Knesebeck to be his own daughter. When she falls in love with Alwin, he does everything he can to prevent a marriage.
