Der Kaktus plot

When a stranger shows up at her father's funeral as the deceased's last friend, Thea Cronpichel invites the stranger into her home, not realizing she won't be getting rid of her guest anytime soon. Her first suspicion gives the impression that the stranger, Heinrich Bittner, was once an impostor or marriage swindler. But the freeloader turns out to be a good ghost, who brings to light everything that has been going wrong in the family for years.
