The former actress Katja lives in a glass tower, surrounded by wealth and luxury. She gave up her career and married wealthy entrepreneur Robert Fleming, a power-hungry man who gets everything he wants. Katja is now part of his property. She is not surrounded by warmth and affection, but by coldness, which makes her feel lonely. The writer John Lawrence tries to convince her to start acting again.
