Der Fall Bachmeier - Keine Zeit für Tränen plot
Marie Sellbach (Marie Colbin) has a simple life. She is the single mother of daughter Julia (Christine Limbach). They live in Hamburg and Marie earns a living in a pub. She has to work late into the night and sleeps during the day. Her seven-year-old daughter therefore has to save herself during the day. Marie sees that this cannot continue and therefore wants to place Julia as a foster child with the Germer family. One day Marie oversleeps and Julia leaves for school alone. She is overpowered and killed along the way. Marie does not only perish through self-reproach, the outside world also blames her because of her lifestyle. The perpetrator is apprehended and Marie decides to take the law into her own hands by shooting her daughter's killer in court.
