Der Blaue plot

dr. Otto Skrodt, an unscrupulous Stasi spy in GDR times, survived the fall of the wall well. He made all traces of his Stasi past disappear and now sits as an elected deputy in parliament and even hopes for the post of foreign minister. But his idyllic life is abruptly interrupted when suddenly his old buddy Karl Kaminski knocks on the door.
