Der Auftrag Höglers plot

The Luisenhütte, a blast furnace complex, is not only divided by a river, but also by a zone boundary. The old General Director Högler lives in the West and the Eastern part is expropriated, but is still inhabited by the chief engineer Dr. thelen. He is working on a new process for steel production, which Högler would love to own. His means are bribery, espionage and slander. Finally, the trade union official Maria Steinitz is almost the victim. However, the intrigue is uncovered and Högler's criminal intent is thwarted. At a large gathering, longtime people's comptroller Hufland reveals the real culprits...
