Delwende plot

In Burkina Faso, unexplained deaths are often attributed to soul eaters, women with occult gifts. When a few children die of a mysterious illness in a small village, everyone is convinced that this is the work of a witch. They search for the culprit and he is soon found: Napoko, the wife of a prominent villager. Although it is clear that her husband is behind the charges - he feels his honor has been tarnished because Napoko opposes the marriage of their daughter - Napoko has no chance and she flees from the village.
