Death on the Streets plot

His wife Sarah still believes in the American Dream, but for the unemployed Kurt there is a gray veil over the sun-drenched rural Bible Belt. And the fact that the whole village is aware of their predicament does not help his self-esteem. All the well-intentioned pity pushes Kurt over the edge as he flees in search of a way to support his family.
