De Witte Waan plot

A heroin-addicted artist (Thom Hoffman) cherishes his self-chosen isolation. While painting in an abandoned factory, he injects heroin. He then dreams that he flies like an eagle above the people. When his mother becomes disabled after a failed suicide attempt, she asks about him. He visits her again for the first time in twelve years. Together they make a drastic decision.
