De Juiste Maat plot

This tragicomedy follows a few days in the life of Louise, a woman who has given herself heart and soul to her usually absent, married lover. To soften the painful desire, after the umpteenth rejection, she focuses on the suffering of others. She gives soup to junkies and offers her support to Amnesty. The lack remains. On the advice of her friend, she tries to satisfy her sexual appetite with the ecstatic delights of a dildo, but the surrogate love does not make up for the lack of real love. The acceptance of the impossible love between her and her lover leads to a new beginning.
