Peter Henlein is happily married to the beautiful, lively young Eva. But he is feverishly working on the construction of a new timepiece. As a result, he forgets his wife and the world around him. Day and night he is working on his invention. His wife's desperate attempts to get some attention from him are in vain. Peter Henlein manages to realize his ingenious life's work, but too late realizes he will lose the woman he once held dear.
