Das Kleid plot
Hans and his companion are two weavers' companions and set off for the city, where according to them paradisiacal conditions prevail. But the city protects itself from unwanted intruders by a wall. Hans and his companion believe that they must use a trick to outwit the guards. By chance they meet the beautiful girl Kattrin. She not only grants the two access to the castle but also arranges their audience with the despotic and disgruntled emperor.
