Das Haus am Fluss plot
Germany, during World War II. Mother Voss, her two daughters, Agnes and Lisabeth, and her daughter-in-law Emmi live together in a house on the river. They accept the war as inevitable and decide to make the best of it for themselves. Before he left for the war, Paul gave Emmi a blouse. Agnes asks her husband Jupp, who is stationed on the Eastern Front, to bring back furs for her.
