Das Geheime Stockwerk plot

Twelve-year-old Karli moves to the Alps, where his parents are fulfilling their dream of opening their own hotel. Instead of going on vacation, Karli has to help his grumpy parents scrape off old wallpaper. But then he discovers that he can use the old elevator to travel back in time to 1938. There, Karli makes friends with the Jewish girl Hannah and the shoe shiner Georg. Together they solve an exciting crime case and Karli realizes the shadow that lies over the world of his new friends.
