Das Ende des Regenbogens plot
The story is set in West Berlin in the late 1970s. Jimmi is 17, a prostitute and lives on the street. The rules of society do not apply to him. His ambivalent personality fascinates both men and women. He is dynamic, aggressive and unpredictable, lovable and dangerous, helpless and explosive. Jimmi lives from day to day, knows no rules, has no structure and does not know what to do with his feelings. Sometimes he decides to change his life, but it always comes to nothing. One day he meets a student who takes care of him. For a moment it seems that Jimmi, who can hardly read and write, is still finding his place in society. But soon he falls back into his old life and roams the streets of Berlin again.
