Das Bernstein-Amulett plot

In 1944, Countess Barbara von Ganski marries her great love, the physicist Alexander Reichenbach. He gives her an amulet in amber as a wedding present. But at the end of the war Alexander is taken prisoner by the Russians. When one day Alexander unexpectedly returns, he learns that Barbara has given birth to a child. He accepts the boy Konstantin without further questions.
