Dangerous Remedy plot

In 1969, Melbourne doctor Bertram Wainer is called to a young woman who dies from messing around in an illegal abortion practice. As Wainer investigates the case further, he finds himself in a dark world filled with criminals, illegal doctors, corrupt cops and desperate women. He is launching a campaign that will change Australian law.
