For years, Beth Williamson has been silently enduring the aggression of her husband Tim. She hides her bruises from her daughter Laurie. But one day it becomes too much for her: she moves in with Laurie with her parents. Because Tim also terrorizes her there, she reports him to the police. However, Tim does not shy away from any means to get her back.
