Dagboek van een Oude Dwaas plot
Marcel Hamelinck has to withdraw as director of his own bank due to a progressive muscle disorder. However, his physical decline does not mean that he is no longer interested in anything. His daughter-in-law, ex-ballerina and ex-nightclub dancer Simone, has his more than usual interest and is his only passion after the sudden death of his wife Denise. Hamelinck's nurse, Sister Alma de Wispelaere, has to watch as the older man does everything possible to get close to Simone. Health is sacrificed just to catch a glimpse of her. His dearest wish is to see Simone swimming in the pool one day.
