Daar Doer in die Stad plot

Hans Botha is a farmer and married to former teacher Martie. Martie dies tragically after a snake bite. Hans and his daughter Marietjie go to Johannesburg to patent his peanut sorting machine so he can earn some money. In the city, he falls in love with a social butterfly who doesn't like children and wants to go out every night.
