Cynthia plot
"You'll fall in love with Cynthia"
Teenage Cynthia Bishop is in poor health and raised in a sheltered manner. She should never be in the company of other teenagers. As frustrated as Cynthia may be, she has nothing against her parents Larry and Louise Bishop, who believe they could have accomplished much more in their lives had they remained childless. Only by discovering that she has a beautiful singing voice is Cynthia able to escape from her protected environment. She joins the choir of lovable Viennese music teacher Professor Rosenkrantz in high school and falls in love with her school friend Ricky Latham.
