Cuerpo Celeste plot

Summer 1990: After 17 years of dictatorship, Chile returns to democracy. In a coastal town near the Atacama Desert, 15-year-old Celeste celebrates New Year's Eve with her family and friends on the beach. Just when the world seems full of joy and hope for a new future, a tragic event shatters the idyllic atmosphere and plunges her mother into a deep crisis. Almost a year later, Celeste returns to the same town and realizes that nothing is the same anymore. With her world turned upside down, Celeste must find her own way in increasingly uncertain times.
