Contact plot

A platoon of British paratroopers is on border patrol in the south of County Armagh in Northern Ireland during the period of 'The Troubles'. Between stopping civilians, ransacking their properties and fighting with enemy Irish militants, they walk endlessly through the countryside. They flirt with both actual death and spiritual death from crushing boredom.
