Comeback für Freddy Baker plot

After a successful tour through the United States, schlager singer Freddy (Mario Adorf) returns to his homeland and wants to continue his career there. That is disappointing, because his compatriots are not exactly waiting for his old-fashioned songs, and he falls into a life of schnabbels at weddings and parties. There is one bright spot: his son, whose existence he didn't even know about, is also interested in music, so he takes him under his wing.
