Colours of Innocence plot
Ten-year-old Gopal loses his father in an accident in the village. His mother has a hard time raising his brother Chottu and himself, forcing Gopal to grow up quickly and become more responsible. He leaves school and starts selling goods to earn a little extra money for the home. When Chhotu learns that a free festive meal is being offered to the villagers, he tries to make sure he is on the invitation list by offering the patron Palmyra nuts.
