Chun Shu plot

After missing out on a role because she no longer speaks her native language, the Chengdu dialect, actress Chunshu returns to her hometown. There, she reunites with the acting teacher who had encouraged her to speak standard Mandarin. She builds a bond with her Shanghai-born son and wanders through the Emei Film Studio, which is soon to be demolished.
