Christine und die Störche plot

Christine and her friends often play near a ruin where a pair of storks have their nesting place. Now the ruins will be cleared and the wreckers are already on their way. Christine wants to save the young storks, who cannot yet fly. The fire brigade cannot help because they are already working elsewhere and the crane operator of the demolition company is unable to bring the nest down. So Christine goes to the nearest airport and tries to persuade a helicopter commander to save the storks.
