Chlen Pravitelstva plot

The brave peasant Alexandra Sokolova is left to work the land on her own. Her husband has left her, her neighbors are of no use to her and the local government is a bureaucratic male stronghold. Despite this, she manages to survive: she rejects the sexual advances of her male neighbors and is also able to teach the corrupt officials a lesson.
