Carrie Harlech is an ice skater who is aggressively trained by her no-nonsense mother. She has the talent, but lacks the confidence to win. When her new coach pairs her with handsome ex-hockey player Peter, Carrie finds the love and inspiration to persevere. Together they get a chance to compete in the National Championships.
