Champagne Amer plot

Wanis does not know that landowner Paul Rivière is his father. It must leave with a view to the coming independence. Paul's wife Betty takes him for one last ride in her beautiful sleigh, a Buick, as a goodbye. His mother does not want to marry Zigou, who continues to support her despite her rejections, even when she moves to the city, where Wanis becomes a car mechanic. When he sees a Buick, Wanis dreams of Betty.
