Cesta Pustým Lesem plot

Doctor Holoubek moves in with the local postman, whose mistress takes over when he's out and about. It's a mystery to everyone why the doctor gives up his life in Vienna for the lonely village life. Holoubek befriends a host of striking personalities, such as a star-gazing hermit, gold-digging Russians, cunning Hungarians and loud Sudeten Germans.
