Carnival Story plot
"The Story of a Woman's Shame!"
Poor girl Willie (Baxter) has a talent for the tightrope and becomes the partner of Frank (Bettger), who has a trapeze number in a circus. Frank is unaware that Willie was already having an affair with ringmaster Joe (Cochran), leaving Willie feeling remorse. Joe suggests that she marry Frank and continue their relationship. No sooner said than done. Of course Frank finds out and that's where fireworks come from, especially at dizzying heights.
