Carmen plot

In the streets of Seville, a discussion ensues between the soldiers about Carmen, the lieutenant's mistress. When Brigadier Don José arrives at the palace, he is ordered not to let anyone in. Then Carmen shows up, watching Don Jose and provoking him by throwing him a flower.
