Captain Salvation plot
Bess Morgan is scorned by the villagers as an angry and sinful woman, but the open-minded Reverend Anson Campbell is on her side. This startles the short-sighted townspeople and Campbell, horrified at so much short-sightedness, embarks on a ship. It turns out to be a ship with convicts and Bess is also on board. Bess promised Campbell that she would make amends, and she's committed to keeping it that way, even when the captain tries to seduce her.
