"Cameo Kirby risks defeat and wins a bride!"
Once a man of stature, Cameo Kirby (John Gilbert) is currently a professional gambler on the Mississippi boats of the 1800s. He notices an old man being ripped off while playing cards and is determined to get the man to win his money back. However, before he can do anything, he commits suicide.
