Call Me Queen plot

In 1999, Queen, a single mother, lives in the slums of Nairobi. It's a turbulent time, with AIDS causing a sharp rise in mortality among the poor. Along with others, including Irish journalist Anna, she takes to the streets in a fight against pharmaceutical companies and the corrupt government. They demand that impoverished Kenyans have access to life-saving medicines.
