Calendar plot

A photographer and his wife take pictures of Armenian churches to make a calendar. Their guide, a local resident, tells the history of those churches while his wife translates for him. However, she soon finds the guide more interesting than the churches and her love is reciprocated. The photographer travels back alone and over the following months he writes letters to his ex, inspired by a number of women he invites to his home.
