Burn Up plot

Tom McConnell (Rupert Penry-Jones) is an up-and-coming oil baron whose best friend Mack (Bradley Whitford) in Washington stands out as a lobbyist for the oil industry. When environmental activist Holly (Neve Campbell) infiltrates Tom's company, she manages to open his eyes. She paints the picture of a world where the end is near, and where all parties involved - those who want to combat climate change and those who enrich themselves if everything stays the same - are prepared to kill or be killed. Tom, Mack and Holly must decide for themselves which side to choose and how far they will go to win.
