Burgtheater plot

The story is about a famous judge, Friedrich (Werner Krauss), who falls hopelessly in love with the young Leni (Hortense Raky), who, however, has her sights set on the totally unknown man Josef (Carl Esmond). When the pair find themselves in a scandal, the psychologically unbalanced Josef wants to commit a desperate act.
