Bürgschaft für ein Jahr plot
Nina Kern is in her late twenties and a single mother with three small children. Since her divorce, she can no longer cope well with life. She loves her children, wants to be a good mother and has a steady job. But she soon forgets all her New Year's resolutions as soon as the opportunity presents itself to escape the daily grind. She neglects her children Mireille, Jacqueline and René. And then the Bureau for Youth Care intervenes. In a preliminary ruling, the three children are placed in a children's home. Nina could now lose her children forever unless she radically changes her life.
