Brûlez Molière! plot

1664. Playwright Molière is allowed to perform his latest play 'Le Tartuffe' for the court of King Louis XIV. After seeing the play poking fun at faith, the Archbishop of Paris, Hardouin de Péréfixe, demands that 'Le Tartuffe' be banned. For five years Molière will fight for the right to show the play to the general public.
