Brudeferden i Hardanger plot
The film is about the young Marit, who is waiting for her beloved Anders. Anders has left for America and will return in two years. Four years later, Marit has still not heard from him. When Marit goes to a big wedding, she finds out that it is Anders who is getting married there.
