Brown plot

Teófilo Alfonso, also known as "Panamá Al Brown", is the first Latin American world boxing champion. After a rigged match costs him his title, he retires to Paris. There, he becomes a cabaret sensation and attracts the attention of the poet Jean Cocteau, who becomes both his lover and his agent. Despite his age of 35 and his struggle with addiction, Brown agrees to return to the boxing ring to reclaim his lost title.
