Broken Hearts of Hollywood plot
"A story of the lives and loves behind the screens of Hollywood, the Mecca of picture fans."
Virginia Perry, a former movie star, leaves her family and returns to Hollywood to make a comeback. However, her age has taken its toll and she only gets small character roles. Meanwhile, her beautiful daughter, Betty Ann, has won a beauty pageant and leaves for Hollywood with aspirations to become an actress. They end up in the same movie, where Betty's real mother plays her mother. Meanwhile, Marshall tries to take advantage of the naive Betty.
