Brennan plot

Former priest Brennan Manning is known for writing multiple religious stories. However, he has a serious drinking problem and is about to lose his wife through marital problems. After a conference in San Diego, Brennan plans to fly home to New Orleans. The flight has been canceled due to a hurricane. Brennan meets a stranger and is offered a ride to New Orleans. Along the way, a friendship develops between the two.
