Franz Roberti is a famous orchestra conductor who has a number of girlfriends. But once visiting his old teacher, he meets Constance, a young aspiring conductor. They fall in love and get married. However, after a wonderful honeymoon through Europe, Constance finds out at home in America that Franz isn't as reliable a husband as she hoped.
