Boy Slaves plot

"SOLD - Human Beings, In This Modern Age, Actually Sold Into Slavery!"

Drama set in the Depression years of the 1930s, about young people who become the prey of unscrupulous turpentine farmers in the American South. After Jesse Thompson leaves his childhood home to find work in the late Depression, he encounters a gang of youthful drifters. They are all sent to a working farm that turns out to be nothing more than slave labor.
