Du Bout des Lèvres plot

Fernand is a young teenager in the countryside. He is somewhat withdrawn and taciturn and different from his peers, while being so close to them at the same time. There are Christine and Georgette, but he hardly notices them. Locked in his bedroom, he collects pictures of beautiful naked women to stave off his boredom. Then he meets Christine, a mysterious lonely woman who is twenty years his senior. Fernand quickly becomes interested by her, while his working-class parents envision a different future for him than their own. Fernand spies on Christine and the people she lets into the house, while she seems to ignore him.
