Booye Kafoor, Atre Yas plot
Farmanara himself plays the role of director Bahman Farjami who, after not making films for twenty years, is making a documentary about Iranian funeral rituals for Japanese television. However, death also haunts him on a personal level. Several close friends, including Sohrab S. Saless, another Iranian master who had emigrated, died shortly after each other and he himself had heart problems. In the cemetery he is astonished to see that the place he reserved next to his deceased wife is occupied. Then Farjami is struck by other unpleasant twists of fate. In the end, he takes matters into his own hands: he decides to direct his own death.
