Bonjour Tristesse plot

The 42-year-old Anna walks to her car with tears in her eyes, because she has just read the last pages of a novel that 17-year-old Cécile is completing. Cécile realizes that a major drama is imminent. She is right: Anna ends her wild car ride in a ravine. In the hospital where Anna is fighting for her life, Cécile and her father Raymond start to feel guilty.
